Hurting a lot

Spent the day outside with my cousin walking around in 95 degree weather. We checked in about our applications for work from a few months back and saw a movie.

However, I now have sunburn on my forearms and the back of my neck, and several blisters which have been "handled", although the pain makes it hard to walk right afterwards.

Moral of the story: stop being lazy. It hurts.

Mike Maverick Update

Hey, Turnabout Viewers, Mike Maverick, here with an update.  Yes, the E.L.I.T.E.S. have chose me to become part of the podcast but by monthly basis.  Just pointing that out if anyone hasn't been able to see it.  Anyways, the updates what I'm about to do is well...I have purchase "the Binding of Issac", Two Ys games, Ys Oath of Felgana and Ys Origins, are on Steam for 66% off the price (from $14.99 to $5.09 on Felgana, and $19.99 to $7.99 on Origins) from now till July 23, which I will pay 13 dollars for those two this coming Friday, and Panty and Stocking dub was awesome!  I'm working on the overview video, still thinking of the title of the overview series and the intro.  That's the only thing I'm having trouble with.

Anyways, that's all I got to say.  I might do some cheap plugs here and there if the Fish Dragon himself would let me.  =p

Until then, this is Mike Maverick...entertaining for..if you guys follow me around, you know what I'm about to say...^_^

Mike Maverick...entertaining for great justice.

Good News Bad News Bit

>     So...starting off with our bad news first, me and my co-host, Haru, haven't been able to get online around the same time, and we're usually missing each other by a few hours. Of course, I had a problem in RL to deal with, so I wasn't able to stay on for as long as I'd like. Hopefully, the problem is completely solved (preferably in the best way possible).

>     Good news though. In a surprising twist, my call for artists have yielded the interest of no less than 5 people: 4 more than I had figured I'd get for :P Now once Haru and I are online at the same time, we can look through our applicants and pick the one we like best/the person with the most convenient schedule :)

>     And in Neutral news, I've caught Slenderman fever. Just finished watching a couple of peoples LP's of the Indie Game Slender, which was infinitely amusing and started really getting me interested in Slenderman. Just watched all the videos on the MarbleHornets channel on YT. Starts off pretty good, until Slenderman stops being the central mystery and instead becomes the "answer" to why some of the people are becoming batshit crazy and stuff.

Do the Weekend Whip

>     Yeah, I'm currently rockin out to the theme song for Lego's Ninjago series. Though it discards a number of elements made possible by the whole "legoverse" thing, it's still pretty decent. Lord Garmadon is one of the cooler villains I've seen in awhile.

>     In other news, I'm gonna begin learning some HTML code to add some more bells and whistles to the site. Thanks to a friend of mine for helping me out by patiently answering my questions, in addition to putting them in their simplest and most easy to understand form. I'll give a better shoutout when we get Episode 1 out. Still waiting on Imperson8 to send the art he's currently got, although he' suppose to be doing that soon, I hear.  In addition, Chris Thurman, whom I hired to make the podcast a theme song, is suppose to have time to work on it tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to what he makes.

>     For now, it looks like I must simply play the waiting game...

Getting to work

>     Me and my soon-to-be partner-in-crime are beginning to get out shit together. In addition, I've commissioned a music person to make us our theme song.  Now I just gotta keep in touch with our artist to make sure he ain't slacking off, and everything should be set for the E.L.I.T.E.S. Podcast :P
